Things to do Around the Hotel
Aokigahara Trekking
Aokigahara Jukai is Located north west of Mt. Fuji and covers an area of 30 square kilometers. In AD 864 Mt. Fuji erupted and the lava flow covered a vast area. First of all moss grew on the lava and held a lot of moisture. Seeds were dropped by birds and gradually plants and trees started to grow on the moss. Because the lava was too tough for tree roots to penetrate, roots grew outwards across the surface. This has created a unique forest environment rarely seen anywhere else in the world.
